AdGentz uses the Google Ads API to provide campaign monitoring and optimization services to our clients. This page describes how we use the API, what data we access, and how we protect it.
1. What AdGentz Does
AdGentz is an AI-powered Google Ads management platform for small and medium-sized businesses. We connect to your Google Ads account and provide:
- Continuous campaign monitoring and performance tracking
- Search term analysis to identify and block wasted ad spend
- Landing page health monitoring and broken link detection
- Ad copy performance analysis and improvement suggestions
- Automated bid and budget optimization recommendations
- Daily performance reports with one-click optimization approvals
- Professional dashboards via Google Looker Studio
2. Google Ads API Usage
We access your Google Ads data through the official Google Ads API (v23) using a secure service account under our Manager Account (MCC). The following table summarizes the API resources we use:

3. Write Operations
AdGentz may perform the following write operations on your account, but only after you explicitly approve each change through our dashboard:
- Adding negative keywords to block wasted spend
- Pausing underperforming keywords or ads
- Adjusting keyword bids based on performance data
- Updating ad headlines and descriptions
No automated changes are ever made without your explicit approval. You remain in full control of your account at all times.
4. Supported Campaign Types
AdGentz currently supports monitoring and optimization for Search campaigns and Performance Max campaigns.
5. Authentication & Security
- We use Google Cloud Service Account authentication (no OAuth user tokens)
- All API communication occurs over encrypted TLS/SSL connections
- Service account credentials are stored with restricted file permissions
- Each client's data is isolated in separate BigQuery datasets
6. Data Handling
- Your Google Ads data is never sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties
- Data is used exclusively to provide optimization services to your account
- We retain data only while you are an active subscriber
- Data is deleted within 30 days of subscription cancellation
- You may request immediate data deletion at any time
7. Revoking Access
You can revoke AdGentz's access to your Google Ads account at any time by removing our service account email from your Google Ads account's access settings. No further data will be accessed once the service account is removed.
